Chyloe talks about the masculine norms and behaviours that are woven into the fabric of footy and how the idea of ‘needing to be good to participate’ is used to block women’s access to sports.

Taking listeners through a team-by-team preview, Kick Like a Girl host Kate O’Halloran and VFL legend Leesa Cato share their thoughts and predictions. The teams are split into two groups, with Conference A including Adelaide, Fremantle, North Melbourne and West Footscray. Conference B includes Brisbane, Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong and Greater Western Sydney.
